The personally-managed company \u201cI sapori della collina di Torino\u201d (Flavours of Turin\u2019s hill area) was founded in 2016 after my long-lasting experience in the truffle sector. When I was a child, I went together with my grandfather who was both a hunter and \u201ctriful\u00e8\u201d, a truffle hunter in Turinese dialect. He used to go out very early in the morning, when it was still dark, to go secretly hunting for valuable Tuber Magnatum Pico (refined white truffle) with his reliable dogs in the surrounding valleys. Besides truffle hunting, my grandfather\u2019s passion was the training of truffle-searching dogs as well, which he taught me step-by-step and passed down to me.<\/p>\n

\"\"When I started studying Architecture and my grandfather died, who was my guide, I gave it up for a certain period of time. However, immediately after my degree, I bought two Lagotti Romagnoli, a breed of dog coming from Romagna, and started training them by recalling the precious teaching of my grandfather.<\/p>\n

Both dogs became very skilled and gave me a lot of satisfaction. Therefore, I understood that my role as a trainer was successful and was in my DNA. I started to do it for friends or people who wanted to become a truffle hunter and still today, through word of mouth, I\u2019m training many dogs for truffle hunting.<\/p>\n

In 2011 I enroled for the association Trifole&triful\u00e8 (truffles and truffle hunters) working in the metropolitan area of Turin and its territory. Currently, the association is made up of about 150 truffle hunters, who associated themselves in the 90s in order to safeguard the truffle heritage.<\/p>\n

In 2015, I was appointed President of such an association, whose headquarters are in Rivalba, as well as delegating Piedmontese truffle hunters within the Regione Piemonte for the Regional Council.<\/p>\n

The main goal of my company \u201cI sapori della collina di Torino\u201d is to share with people the taste and scent of our refined piedmontese truffle with organoleptic features, which cannot be found anywhere else worldwide.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lo vedevo uscire di casa al mattino presto, quando era ancora buio, per recarsi, segretamente, con i suoi cani fidati nelle valli circostanti alla ricerca del prezioso Tuber Magnatum Pico (tartufo bianco pregiato). La passione di mio nonno era, oltre la ricerca, l\u2019addestramento dei cani da tartufo, passione che mi ha trasmesso dopo avermi insegnato passo per passo\u201d<\/p>\n

La ditta individuale \u201cI sapori della colina di Torino\u201d nasce nel 2016, dopo una mia lunga esperienza nel mondo del tartufo. Fin da bambino seguivo mio nonno che otre ad essere cacciatore, era triful\u00e8 come si dice in torinese, tartufaio. Lo vedevo uscire di casa al mattino presto, quando era ancora buio, per recarsi, segretamente, con i suoi cani fidati nelle valli circostanti alla ricerca del prezioso Tuber Magnatum Pico (tartufo bianco pregiato). La passione di mio nonno era, oltre la ricerca, l\u2019addestramento dei cani da tartufo, passione che mi ha trasmesso dopo avermi insegnato passo per passo.<\/p>\r\n\"\"\r\n

Mancato mio nonno, che era il mio punto di riferimento ed iniziati gli studi universitari in architettura, abbandonai per un periodo la ricerca, ma subito dopo la laurea acquistai due lagotti romagnoli ed iniziai il loro addestramento ripensando ai preziosi insegnamenti di mio nonno.<\/p>\r\n

Questi due cani divennero presto molto bravi e mi regalarono molte soddisfazioni, a questo punto capii che il ruolo di addestratore mi riusciva molto bene ed era nel mio dna, iniziai a farlo per amici e persone e conoscenti che volevano iniziare l\u2019attivit\u00e0 di tartufaio e tutt\u2019oggi addestro ancora moltissimi cani per la ricerca del tartufo grazie anche al passa parola.<\/p>\r\n

Nel 2011 mi iscrissi all\u2019Associazione Trifole&trifol\u00e8 (tartufi e tartufai) che opera nell\u2019area Metropolitana di Torino ex Provincia, \u00e8 un gruppo numeroso di tartufai, circa 150, attualmente, che si \u00e8 associato negli anni 90\u2019 per la salvaguardia del patrimonio tartufigeno.<\/p>\r\n

Nel 2015 divenni Presidente dell\u2019Associazione con sede a Rivalba e rappresentante dei tartufai Piemontesi alla Regione Piemonte per la Consulta Regionale.<\/p>\r\n

Il principale obiettivo che vorrei raggiungere tramite la mia ditta \u201cI sapori della collina di Torino\u201d, \u00e8 quello di far conoscere il sapore ed il profumo del nostro meraviglioso tartufo piemontese, con caratteristiche organolettiche, che non si trovano in nessuna altra parte del mondo.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
